    LITE-ON DVD SHD-16P1S is not recognised by XP SP3 as recorder

    LITE-ON DVD SHD-16P1S is not recognised by XP SP3 as recorder. XP doesn't show Recording tab in DVD Drive Properties, although according to http://www.liteonit.com/global/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=103&Itemid=99&limit=1&limitstart=1 it is supposed to be recorder. Moreover, it's been OK before, untill from some point on this issue started.
    Just in case, just upgraded firmware from GS03 to GS07 and tryed finding a better driver from Inet with "The wizard could not finnd a better match..." result.

      No way, It's already been like that when I just upgraded to GS07.

        Would you please indicate what does make you believe it's not a recorder?
        My sane arguments are: it'd been recording before and the link provided, plus I can clearly see the "DVD R/RW" writing on Freont panel. :)

        Look again. According to that site, it is definitely not a recorder.
