Helped a friend a while back add her music to her website, but it was just linked for play ( and handled by default mp3 player at the users end ) or download as a mp3 if they right-clicked and selected to save it. It wasnt protected, and to protect her music she only posted like the first 30 seconds of it as a teaser vs the full songs. Full songs were cheap enough that people would pay for them without bootlegging.
