32 bit & 64 bit

I need to know, what is 32 bit windows and 64 bit windows, can  i install 32 bit software, if i have 64bit os. if yes then any problem?

Welcome to the forum.

1) You can find the detailed differences between 6b and 32 bit windows here, http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946765

2) you can install most of the 32 bit softwares (Not all) on 64 bit OS without any problems. But you can't install drivers that are designed for 32bit on a 64bit OS
