I have recently noticed on browsing history cookies that there are many visits to pay per click websites, marketing websites, traffic holding websites and counterstat websites - I am very confused as to why these websites may have been visited - can anyone give me any ideas what these websites would be used for. Many thanks.

They are advertising sites, etc., for sites you visit. Make sure you set your internet options to accept first party and session cookies but NOT third party cookies
