    98 Drivers
    « on: October 08, 2012, 06:29:25 AM »
We used to have an Novel Network to run an old Audimation Wizard at the one Station my dad works for.  Thing is that I pulled the drive out of one of the machines that one of the DJ's gave me.  I put it in a machine that seemed like it was it.  Any rate I added a NIC to it an setup the network for Windows but, it has Novel setup on it too which, I dont know which verison.  Any rate its not able to get them online but, I need it too connect it too the main Server

Maybe this will help. I haven't played with Novell in over 17 years. We did away with it in 1995 when we switched to NT 3.51

Sorry, let me rephrase that a little.  Was rather tired when I made that post.  This unit connected to the Server an edditted the music/spots that was aired.  The drives in the Server are a odd SCSI type simular to SATA.  In order it to talk an see the Server I need to be able to use this unit.  Since I dont know anything about Netware

Yours might be 80 pin SCA type... I have an adapter to convert that to Ultra SCSI 68 pin as shown in pics attached to post. Is that what you need?

I use this adapter for data recovery for clients with bummed drives of this type.

What SCSI issue? Maybe as simple as ... Terminator Missing if not automatically terminated or Wrong ID..

Dave - fair warning. If you allow him to, Ryuk will take you on a merry-go-round. He has been banned multiple times under different names for doing just what he's doing in this thread - spinning your wheels ("I'm having a problem with 'A", but maybe it's because of 'b' or 'c' - oh wait, never mind - I forgot to turn on the computer"). He starts threads and wastes the time of those who reply. It's up to you whether or not you choose to continue to respond to his posts. Personally, I avoid them like the plague.
