cannot open system file that is a new driver

i am windows 7, 32 bit, i have used this same driver for my snooper sapphire on XP, this is a camera detector for downloading updates, i have done the downloading on my friends XP operating system, i cannot open the driver on my windows 7, i get a pop up saying cannot open the system file, can any one help, thanks
