Personally I use Clonezilla live, it's not the easiest to use but works really well, saved my life before (Sleep deprived, trying to delete folder, "rm -rf /" - Yeah...).

what about clonezilla ? i tent to use this for cloning HDDs (creating a back up of my current system)

its open source so thats all good :)

Thank you all. Mt big concern was getting the updates needed if I have to use the original CD to install again.
As to Drive Inge programs, there are lots.

I spent almost 2 months testing and running all the Free choices out there....i'll save you some time stating that Macrium Reflect was the best of the bunch.
