how to back date a document?
« on: October 24, 2005, 03:54:48 PM »
I'm a very basic computer user--know how to do what I need to do for basic stuff, so i have no clue how to do this.

I need to write a document in Word and make it look like it was done at an earlier date.

Can anyone tell me how to do it, or point me to a source for the info--this would be much appreciated.

Do the item in word........then save it to my docs........then reopen it in word .........now edit the file.....to whatever you chose to do.

Change the date on your computer to an earlier time, then write the document & save it.
(Then change back to the right time)

If you already have the document.

      Open it
      Change the date
      Give a space or something
      Save

      Bingo  :D
