    bad sectors

    According to active smart 2.97 my hard drive has 3 bad sectors impending, what exactly does this mean?-thank you

    They will be blocked off so the drive never accesses them...
    Not too much to be concerned with unless it keeps getting worse.

    Brand new HDD's from the factory come with bad sectors.
