Myself, I like it better that Windows 8. But I do not use it for everyday use. For one thing, the display fonts are not as good on my monitor. It looks better in Windows 7.
I use three systems. Windows XP, Windows 7 and Windows 10. Because of my limited ability to adjust to new things, I have to use XP for my everyday yaks. But each day I spend a little time trying Windows 10. So I no longer have time to explore Linux.
Bear this in mind. If you upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10, you can oily use Windows 10. But my system is legal because I had two legal versions of Windows 7. The 32 bit version was used to upgrade to the 32 bit Windows 10.
Now if you like Windows 7, and have only one legal install, stick with it if you like.
