how do i choose a replacement psu? the only thing i know about my current (non-working) power suply is that it is a 550w output.  my question is how do i know if i am getting the correct connectors. I have opened my computer to look at  the psu; the discriptions on-line are not very helpfull. ???

just in case further information is needed...

I had my computer built by a friend (who has moved out of state) and I don't know a lot about computers; I do know enough to change the psu if i could find the exact or near exact replacement. I have a very good understanding of electrical and electronic principals. 8)

An Antec would have every connector you could possibly need.

Just wish they would make an external model and combine it with an UPS. :)

Careful there Mac, that's an awful lot of common sense there for one day...
