Downloading
« on: December 23, 2005, 11:10:55 PM »
Is there some way to continue a download after it has been interupted? See, I have a dial-up connection, and when downloading large files (patches, updates, etc...) I have to stay online for sometimes hours at a time. Well, I usually just leave the computer on and let the download finish itself; however, sometimes, things happen and the download is not finished. So, I have to do it all over again...I was just wondering if there is a way or some program that will allow me to continue downloading from where I left off; perhaps something similar to a file-sharing program, like LimeWire? Anyways, any help would be appreciated.
