Internet links in Outlook e-mails wont load

When I attempt to access an internet site link within the body of an e-mail, it starts Internet explorer but won't finish loading the site

    Let me explain, is this a software problem or is it a Microsoft Windows problem? I wasn't sure where to post the message. I'm a newbie so give me a break on this first day.

      It could be the sites?
      Send yourself an email with a regular site link in it like
      http://www.google.com and see if that loads up.
