new user name in "my computer"
« on: January 19, 2006, 04:21:51 PM »
Recently I noticed when browsing through My Computer after I tried to change my desktop wallpaper and it didn't work that there seems to be a new user name with the other users of computer. This name doesn't pop-up with the usual ones under "documents stored on this computer." Only when i go to "documents and settings" is this name and folder visible. The folder is named Kacie Lindsley.MARK-JATA065394. There is still a Kacie Lindsley file (mine), but all the cookies that should be under my folder are in this mystery folder. What's up?

Are we sure that computer is clean? That is always the first thing to check.  ;)

Have you made any changes to your system recently? Which operating system are you using?

Run an online scan. I've heard some bad stories about AOL's protection. I find it worthless actually.
