Outlook 2000
« on: March 20, 2006, 07:16:31 PM »
When I type an email address into the 'to' box and then move down to 'subject' line, the address I entered disappears.  I can type it in again and again and it will just disappear.  This only happens with 1 address, any other addresses seem to work.  I can reply to messages sent from this address, I just can't create new messages to the address.  Anyone have any idea?

IS this an address belonging to someone in your address book?  Does it contain any unusual characters?

I suggest going to that entry in your address book, deleting the email address, and manually adding it again.  Does that help?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

I don't keep an address book, I enter all addresses manually.

There are no unusual characters in the address and I've sent many messages to this person before the problem started....

The address is [email protected]
