Problem with Mozilla

This is the 3rd time this happened to me. My problem is that, whenever i turn off my computer, and turn it back on, all my favorites are gone from Firefox. Does anyone know why this might be?

Have you scanned for viruses and Spyware?

What version of Firefox are you using and what extension do you have installed?
