CD-R burning
« on: September 03, 2004, 02:10:14 AM »
Hello everyone,

I just want to ask some questions about CD-RW
drive.

1) I have a Nero software installed.Can I play
MP3 files with Windows Media Player and then
save directly to a blank CD-R? Or do I have
to download Winamp first?

2) Do I need to buy compatible CD-Rs or just
buy any brand?

3) If I want to burn an audio CD,can I save
one song at a time?Or do I need to burn all
the songs at once? Can I add new MP3
files later if the CD-R is not full?

Hope you guys can help me out.

Thank you.

Regards,
Amy :)

I am not quite certain, but I do believe WMP offers a music copying tool as well. I suggest you use Nero for that, though.

Test a few brands to see which one you like more, not all brands work on all CD-RW's but so far, I have had no trouble with mine.

Not quite, you will have to copy all of files you wish to store at once. You have two types of CD recordables:

A CD-Recordable and a CD-Rewriteable. The latter is more expensive and not quite suited for storing music on. The first, however, can only be written to once.
