Remove the metal insert from the MBoard...

Hook up that PSU that you know is working and try this setup again---outside the case.

Well, here's to the electronic air cleaner that saved my life b4 living with a women with 3 cats!! Now, do I mess with my kids puter or install my new video card? I can't 2nite too tired, think I'll go sneeze instead!
If I have a geforce 7300 gs  and  replacing it with a geforce 7300gt , do I still need to uninstall the old one (drivers)  1ST?  NITE*

The mobo is screwed into the metal panel which "fits" inside the new case infront of the right side panel. It's like portable until I secure it in place in the case.
I guess I will need to unplug  everything inside my own puter and hook up the new mobo to it,  thats what u mean ??

I'm not sure what you want to do with your cats, but I suggest you keep them away from the 110~230 volts line.

And yes, uninstalling drivers prior to installing a new videocard is a good idea.
You should google for DriverCleaner and use that. Unless you're using more than one Nvidia driver in which case I suggest you don't.

thanks for advice, I have an uninstaller already, I'll get rid of the old drivers and do a fresh install for the new card.

Bouncing around merrily with so many topics is getting us nowhere...what's going on with the new build ? ?
Did you try my suggestions ? ?

I will probably look like Im the last dumbass here, but you said you plugged the 24pin connector. did you plug the 4 pin ATX connector as well? both needed to bring anything on screen..
