    when i have alot of programs going on at one time,my computer turns blue,and its something about memory drop,HELP :-[
    my computer, window xp pro version 2002,AMD Athlon(tm),1.20GHz,1.00 GB RAM,GeForce fx 5500,custom computer

      more specs on your computer plz... does this happen when you run only one program?? what programs are you trying to run at the same time??

        its a custom computer (which i know custom computers always have proplems,)

        its windows xp perfessionall,

        it happens when i have like windows medis player,grand theft auto,and the internet connection,


        it just turn's blue and is memory drop,also,it mostly happens when i am installing something,
        my computer, window xp pro version 2002,AMD Athlon(tm),1.20GHz,1.00 GB RAM,GeForce fx 5500,custom computer

        Download and prepare a bootable diagnostic Hard Disk Drive diskette. Obtain diagnostic software for the appropriate manufacturer here: Hard Drive Diagnostics Tools and Utilities

        Download and prepare a bootable memory diagnostic diskette, obtain the program Here(click)

          well GTA is a game and it takes up ram and other resources along with the other stuff..


          try running one at a time..

          what are the specs of the computer?? cpu ram hhd etc

            I'm not quite sure...it looks OK from here but wait until that 20" monitor i ordered for all of us arrives...i'll be better able to tell then.

            Also, the last time we heard from this poster he was having problems related to a bootleg XP product. If this has not been correct all bets are off.
