You cannot (and should not) delete Internet Explorer. You might possibly be able to revert back to an earlier version, but not remove it completely. Well OK some tools can but it is not recommended. For example, some websites can only be used correctly in IE. What would you do then?

Is there any particular reason why you cannot have both installed on your computer?

Ditch IE7 by only using it for Windows Updates (Basically, IE is just an update service for Windows with way too many options).

    Firefox rules.

Do you have IE7 Beta perhaps ? ?
Or the newest release that isn't supposed to be screwed up ? ?

Are you talking about the box for the web address, the search box, or something else?

You can download an extension for Firefox that allows pages to be viewed in an IE tab under Firefox.

True, and that is akin to putting Mother Theresa in bed with Adolf Hitler.  Very poor taste, I've always thought.
