    Problem Wweb-page(s)
    « on: November 04, 2006, 12:03:00 PM »
Sometimes I come across a certain page(s) which does not allow me to close; if I try to close it, it will only redirect me to another web site which again will not alloww me to close, it will again redirect me to yet another web site!  This process continues on and on, until I use "Forced Deletion" to close the IE window.  Any suggestion to solve this annoying behaviour?

Your OS?  Your browser?  Using a firewall?  Using any adware/spyware removal tools?

Yes, it might be true that it it is not working.
My OS is Win 98SE, IE 6 is my browser and I am using Spybot S and D which is supposed to give me protection against hijacking.
By the way, is the Spybot S and D supposed to be running in order to do that while I am surfing? Or, is this software not good enough?
