    How to monitor GPU usage?
    « on: December 30, 2006, 05:57:03 PM »
I will be performing an experiment but I need to figure out how to give a percentage of overall GPU usage. I will be monitoring CPU, RAM and GPU usage to see which one typically lags behind. I'm not referring to the number of FPSes either.
    System Specs:
    AMD Athlon 64 3200+
    1024MB DDR400
    GeForce 7600GS
    160GB SATA II
    500-watt PSU

Using temerature monitoring could give you an pretty good idea of usage.
Take idle temp and under heavy load temp (high res game) for a 0 and 100% mark then just do a little math to get your percentages.
