Turning on/off words typed on writing tabs
« on: October 10, 2004, 02:42:42 AM »
Hi everyone,

I hope you can understand me, here I go.

How can i turn on and off the writting tabs( I think thats what theyre call), so they can remember what you typed before. You know when you click twice, it shows you the other words you typed in the writting space before. Such as search engines words , email adresses, passwords and is there a way I can access and erase words that no longer I need anymore(pass credit cards numbers ect.)

There must be a name for this feature on windows xp but Im new with computers and I do not know how to explain it in computer lingo what Im trying to tell you.

Hope someone can help me.

Thanks to all.

If I am correct you have to go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Advanced tab and then look for 'Auto line fill in' (Freely translated...) under 'Surfing' (Or browsing..)
