can not connect to the internet
« on: February 27, 2007, 08:54:31 AM »
I have a cable modem.  I have 4 computers networked. The modem runs into a switch and the computers are connected to this. It has worked fine until recently when only one computer will connect to the internet but the others will not. I got another switch but no difference. I connected the 3 computers seperately directly to the modem and still unable to connect to the internet. Any ideas?

You'll need to review the network settings on those PCs.  ("ipconfig /all")  Does the modem have a built-in firewall?
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.

I am not sure. On the other computers when i go to network connections it says "limited or no connectivity and firewalled"
