NOthing Shows Up When My Computer Loads
« on: April 24, 2007, 05:59:28 PM »
I have not had any trouble until about 2 days ago.  But the trouble i am now having is that my computer starts up fine but when it comes to the final desktop, it does not show the start bar or icons.  It does respond to ctrl+alt+del and also to caps lock, num lock, etc.  I have also tried rebooting in safemode but the same problem occurs.  If you can help me i would be very appreciative.

Do you get to the desktop, but only see the background, cause if that is the problem, then maybe explorer.exe is not running for some reason. Also, you could try running a system restore through a floppy from another computer than transfer it to yours. Also, remove any USB's you have in, cause you may have too much memory taken up.

    Hope this helps.

You beat me GX1, just had index pulled up. You suck.  :'(

:D  I actually had to read what he said twice just to try and intake that.  Please do explain how you transfer system restore through one computer to another.
