Hardrive not being read?
« on: April 27, 2007, 03:43:08 PM »
I have a new ASUS P5LD2 Deluxe and I'm trying to install Win XP Pro but it won't complete the install.  It stops before it gets to the point that it needs to restart, telling me that it did not find any storage devices.  I have a WD 160GB EIDE with new cables hooked up and the weird thing is that when I go into the BIOS, it shows up as one of the bootable devices?

Anyone have an idea as to what I should be looking for?

Thanks!

1.  There's no reason for this to be a poll.
2.  People are already trying to help you in a post you made on the Windows board...
