Does anyone know how to stop windows 98 from logging online automatically?  When working offline the computer will all of a sudden go online automatically.  You help would be appreciated.  Thanks.

What applications are going online? Who is your internet provider? Are you on dialup or what?  Do you have IM software? When did this start? What are you using for protection against virus and spyware?

You know, stuff like that helps.
