Resloved: Keyboard trouble

My friend has a laptop , and hes haveing truoble,
he talks like this

it inserts the numbers next to the letters instead of the actual letters

can someone help cause hes annoying us lol

Either he is holding down the FN key (in this case, SMACK HIM UPSIDE THE HEAD!)
Or, there is something incorrect selected...

Try this:
Hold down the FN key, and press the NUM LOCK key. This will normally disable this.
