I cant get my computer to hybernate or turn off hard disks.
I have enabled hybernation in poewr options properties.
Is there something I have to enable in BIOS.

You say you have enabled hibernation... what happens when you try to put it in hibernation?
Also what version of windows is this?

Yes I have enabled hybernation in options, and I can put it into hybernation manualy.
But none of those automatic options does not work (standby, turn off hard disks, hybernation), except that montior turns off after time I set.
I am using Windows XP Home Edition SP2.

            Turn off hibernation.
Turn off any Power Saving settings you have.
Reboot the system without making any changes 2 or 3 times.
            Re-boot and try again...
