Most newer monitors do not require drivers...
What flavor of Windows are you running ? ?
I am running windows home basic. I can use my monitor, however windows detected my monitor as a "generic PNP device" and if there were manufacturer's drivers for the monitor, it would be better....
meaning, some features might not be available until I get the manufacturer's drivers; this is what happened with my previous monitor....
