drives opening in new full screen windows

Hi, I've tried to find a solution to this on google, and these forums, with no luck.

For a few months now all of my drives open in new full screen windows, even after a recent format the problem remains. That is, I open My Computer, double click the C Drive (or D, E etc) and I get a new explorer window that opens full screen hiding everything else.

I've looked through all the options I can find, and reset all the folders to default, but nothing seems to change this behaviour. Note it's only the drives, once open they behave normally.

Hope someone can help this is driving me nuts

That should solve your issue.
When you are done, get HijackThis: http://majorgeeks.com/Trend_Micro_HijackThis_d5554.html
and post its log at "Computer Viruses and Spyware" on this board.

I'm glad, it worked, but as CBMatt said, you HAVE TO get antivirus program.
