VSE Problem
« on: October 27, 2007, 11:35:31 PM »
Hi Everyone,

Running Windows XP Service Pack 2 here. I downloaded a program called Vista Startmenu Emulator and decided to take it for a "test drive". So I unzipped the contents of the ZIP folder, run the program and noticed the icon in the System Tray.

It was fully loaded into memory, but one problem. When I clicked on the start menu, I get the following error message:

Application attempted to perform an operation not allowed by the security policy. To grant this application the required permission, contact your system administrator, or use the Microsoft .NET Framework Configuration tool.

I'm the administrator, I checked the configuration, the d**ned thing don't work!!
What should I do?

Thank you.

    Have a read here:

    and here:

From the jist of the articles it seems that the application is not ready for prime-time.  I'd uninstall it.
