Check your connections.  Has anything come loose?  The monitor cable?  Check the back of the monitor and the computer.  Is it onboard video or a video card?  If it's a card check the connection of the card in the computer.  Also if it's a video card try using onboard video.  Does that work?  Are you using an optical mouse?  Does it get a connection?

Is this a new computer or did you just decide to get vista all of the sudden? Vista isn't the best choice for now, at least.

After installing VISTA what other changes did you make. This is caused by many things, lets start from the bottom to the top.

Try reseating the memory.  I had the same problem where the cd light and power light would come on but nothing else.

Do you have any USB device connected?. Restart the BIOS. Check the HDD cable (SATA or IDE).

Green, yellow , orang and red lights don't mean much as we cannot see the machine...
Start over with some pertinent info on the machine and it's hardware and what happened prior to this before the guesswork in this thread spins out of control...
