HTA File Association Fix (Restore default associations for HTA Files
http://www.dougknox.com/xp/file_assoc.htm
Worked like a charm mate! thank you very, very much for your time & effort... much appreciated.
One little snag, now my 'add to windows media player list' option has reappeared in my context menu for media files (I don't use it) I deleted the keys in the registry under:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\audio + video
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\Directory.Audio + video
But they're still there. I searched the registry (ctrl+f) for the key but it came back with nothing
I've started a new topic:
http://www.computerhope.com/forum/index.php/topic,49558.0.htmlThanks again Dev, if you ever need a favour just PM me, got lots of time on my hands so if you need some help with something let me know... not sure what I can do for you but the offers there.
