Programs running after restart

I have Windows ME
My computer is runnung very slow as the memory is being sapped up by open programs that open automatically even after restart
I also have NOrton Antivirus
I am not sure what some of the programs are
Sush as:
ccap
save
ottask
findfast
viewmgr
osa
directcd
rundll
rundll32
rundll32 again
tgcmd
motmon
osd
Hpztsb02

Does anyone know how to get these to stop opening and/or are there some programs that are needed.

I know that they are draining my memory and some may be games may be from games downloaded

You can then select star, run; type msconfig, select the start up tab and disable the relevant check box.
