Loss of speakers -> Loss of power?
« on: February 13, 2008, 07:04:22 AM »
Hey everyone, here's my problem
About 10 minutes ago my brother was on his computer when suddenly the computer froze, the monitor turned off and then the speakers turned off, he pressed the restart button hoping the problem would sort itself out, but once the computer was off, it failed to boot back up
My first suspicion was the power supply going kaput, but I wouldn't think that would explain the speakers and monitor doing what they did, has anyone got an idea what this is/how to fix it?
I have about 4 hours before my dad gets back, so quick replies are welcome  =]
