You may want to use a can of compressed air and blow out those RAM slots before giving up on the MBoard...
The RAM sticks can be cleaned with rubbing alcohol.
PNY does not offer a Lifetime Warranty on any of their RAM...

    My computer has been doing the same thing. I've formated the hard drive and reinstall windows, Windows seems to work fine until I install SP2, then it starts over with all the errors. And now I keep getting RegUpdate.net Popups. I've just about giving up on this one

      Tried those things, still nada. Thanks anyway. I may pull a stick of SD RAM out of an even older computer and try it, since this mobo has slots for both kinds. Probably won't make any difference, but nothing to lose but a few minutes of time. Also, I still haven't tried hooking up the PSU in that same older computer to this one just to cover all the bases; should do that I guess.
