    Freezing problem

    My PC freezes for few minutes sometimes when i click on the desktop icon at quick launch bar. What can be the reason for that ? My OS is Windows XP Pro.

      Could you provide more information? Things such as Processor and RAM.

      It just may be your hard drive which needs to be defragmented.

      Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Defragmenter

      Does it occur ONLY for shortcuts within the quick launch bar?

      Are all shortcuts within the quick launch affected?

      Have you performed any installs/updates/changes to your system recently?
