Computer log
« on: March 10, 2008, 10:41:25 AM »
Good day to everyone!  ;D

One of our computers here at the office frequently crashes. Its an Athlon64 3.0Ghz computer running on WIndows 2000. It has 1gig memory and a GeForce 6600GT videocard. It is only during ArcView use that it crashes. We suspect that it has something to do with its videocard. My questoin is, is there a logfile in windows that logs what has happened and the reason why it happened? And is really the videocard that is at fault?

Thanks in advance! ;D

In Win2k it's Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer/Application Logs....this may yield some clues...
