Play Enhanced DVD without InterActual?
« on: April 13, 2008, 05:26:40 PM »
Is there a way to play enhanced DVD content without using InterActual Player? It has never seemed to be compatible with my laptop (with Windows Vista :(). I have heard of such programs, but I can't seem to find one. Any help would be much appreciated.

EDIT: This is the error message I'm getting:
Error PL4014: Playback failed due to an error with the audio subsystem. Your currently installed audio driver may not be fully compatible with DirectX. Please close any DirectSound applications that are using the sound card. If the problem persists, you may need to upgrade or reinstall your sound card driver. Click the “Help Online” button (bottom button on the left) to find out more information.

EDIT #2: I have "VIA High Definition Audio." It sucks, I know, but it says the driver is fully updated.

I wouldn't think my sound card would be the problem because I have no problem watching DVDs; it's the enhanced content that won't work.
