How do I cut/paste a photofrom the internet?
« on: May 21, 2008, 07:57:40 AM »
I'm trying to help my 7th grade son cut and paste a picture for a homework assignment.  The picture is from a sight on the internet.  I can get to the picture but I'm unable to select just one photo and/or capture then copy the picture.   Thanks for any help you may be able to offer. . .

What browser are you using? Internet Explorer? Firefox?

You should be able to right click, save as and save it to the desktop.
OR
Right click on the picture and select COPY. Then go to a program like Microsoft Word or Paint and go to Edit, Paste.

You can also sign up to photo stock sites, and either purchase (often cheap royalty free photo's) or download free photo's (I use the free Stock.xchng - for one of my web sites, but have to leave a link to the photographer/web site, etc). There are millions of photo's/artwork/banners, etc within the stock sites (e.g. bigstockphoto, istockphoto, etc) - all easily categorized...
