Windows Media Player 10
« on: June 13, 2008, 02:52:48 AM »
Strange problem here...well it's not a problem, a question.

I just recently upgraded from WMP9 to WMP10 and I realize there is is button next to the minimize button which serves no useful purpose (at least none that I can see).

I've checked with my other computers and they have the same thing. Anyone know what it's for?

it looks like it might change it to the small version or just a little toolbar or something did you click on it?

I haven't used WMP 10 in a while but I think that is the music store button or something like that.

Hmmm... I'm thinking of upgrading (again) to WMP11.

Looks like this is a hard question  :P

If you double click on it, does the menu bar disappear?

When I double-click it

When I double-click again

When I minimize or switch to another window or something

Well, at least I can tell you it works the same on my system.  I wonder why Microsoft put it there.  It seems to be a worthless feature, since double clicking on the title bar accomplishes the same thing.
