    help with virus
    « on: July 19, 2008, 12:29:51 AM »
computer was running fine until i downloaded some drivers and programs. then i notice my comp has been running pretty slow and i try to go to c :/programfiles and it gives me an error saying that i have some virus and that i should download a spyware program. i click no but it still redirects me to some bs page. so i run norton and nothing shows up. i run ad-adware and delete a bunch of infected files but it doesn't help. i turned on the ad-watch feature and it keeps says some file lsass.exe keeps trying to modify files in my c:windows or something of that nature, along with a million other things. right now i am not even able to go on my other computer because everything is so laggy. i tried to do a system restore but i had no restore points and nothing seems to work.

    any help would be appreciated!

Without those logs we can't "see" what malware might be there.
