Need a bit-a-help

Ok, when playing games my sounds starts to skip and
comp freezes for about 15 secs only to pop back and returns to normal, Then about a minute after it starts with the skipping and then freezes only to return working.. have reinstalled everything only to find it still locks up. Any help would be awesome.. he he I miss my video game family..

Well.... I am no expert for hardware, but it sounds like RAM is one thing... You have enough installed, but it is not all available... That could cause that filmstrip effect... Also, how fast is your processor?

Unfortuneatly... That's NOT what I'm looking for... Try this... Click on Start -> run... In the run box, type  dxdiag   ... Press enter... If a small dialog box pops-up, then just click no... Next, you will see a large grey box... look down at the bottom of that window, and click on save information... This will save a .txt document showing your system information... Name the file whatever you want, copy what is inside the document, and paste it into a forum thread (reply) ... Keep in touch...

hope that is the info sorry it took so long to respond just needed to walk a way for a bit ..running out of hair to pull.. If anything can you tell me best place to help me build a comp CHEAP that can handle todays games I am sure alot of the items I have in this poop machine can be used.Again flame forgive time takin to respond and I am very thankful to have someone trying to help
