lol ? Strange this , ive had a few issues with my screen giving me no signal , i found i had to open the case up , and make sure the card was firmly in the pci-e socket , take it out and put it back in , apply a little bit of force , it done the trick with mine , you will also notice , the card fan is extremely loud , on start up . Make sure its spinning if it isnt , i just kept taking mine out untill it would register , and now its working fine.

Is this a computer you built yourself or do you mean it's a new computer? Do you hear any beeps when the computer is booting. One short beep means it's booting normally.

Does it have onboard video? If so you will have to disable it in BIOS.

Thermal Compound applied correctly between the heatsink and CPU ? ?
All MBoard standoffs in place ? ?
Tried another monitor cable ? ?

It may also be worth it to try the monitor and vid card on another machine...
But do one at a time because either one could be the culprit.

You NEED thermal compund to attach your heat sink to your processor.
Did you buy the board with the cpu and heatsink attached?

the two were separate, but the instructions said nothing about it.
