I have a Scanner Canan N676U and I am running Win XP PRO.
There is a Program that cam with my scanner called ScanGear Toolbox. And what it does is when you press the Copy Button on the scanner it Automaticly scanns the Document and then sends it to the Printer and prints it out.
In this Program you can settup how you would like the scanner to scan your Photos you know Color and D.P.I and things like that.
And you can also setup how you want the scanner to scan Text Documents in the O.C.R Settings.
And so I did I whent into the O.C.R Tab within the ScanGear Toolbox Program and setup how I would like it to scan Text.
You know Black and White and 300 D.P.I and so on.
But when I e Mail Canan they tell me.......No you can not use the O.C.R because that Type of scanner does not have a Campatibla O.C.R Program for Win XP.
What do they meen ..if it was not Compadible withj Win XP I would not be able to setup the O.C.R Settings RIGHT???
