Oh dang it ...... that really sucks big time.  Just 65 - crazy!  Bad news.

I have the DVD set of the Earls Court gig 1994 - a classic for sure.  Just wish I'd ever managed attending a live show.  He was a keyboard genius and IMO very responsible for many track's being so darned great.

I just did a Google and that's the same tour I saw live. Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas City, MO, USA - 1994. I was thinking it was 96....

I vividly remember the flying pig. We were on the 13th row and you could hear people in the back of the stadium making noise for some reason. Looked back and this HUGE pig was floating right by us. Good stuff!!!

For as mellow as some of their songs are that is by far the absolute loudest concert I have ever been to.

Did they finish with ''Run Like *censored*" too?? - that was IMO the most mind blowing end to any concert and on the vid the light show is amazing. 

Plus too the final sound which is all but a musical rendition of an explosion.

Sure feel just that bit more mortal right now - only two years younger than Richard.

I think they finished with that. Can't exactly remember. I do remember during Run Like *censored* there was another prop that came from behind us. This one a huge bed with what looked like some dude laying there hanging on for dear life lol. Again the crowd noise tipped us off that something was coming. Only the bed prop was seriously hauling a$$ and it appeared to crash/explode into the back of the stage. I never figured out how they did that but who cares, it was awesome

Heh, here's a good one.

I was talking to my ex this morning and asked her if it was 1994 when we went to that concert. She kindly informed me it was 1987 or maybe 88 that we saw them, accompanied by the familiar "your an idiot" look I have grown accustom to...

Guess it's only fitting that the album was A Momentary Lapse of Reason. And explains the flying bed.

It's quite sad when the original "Old Timers" go.  I saw Pink Floyd at Iverwin Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario
back in 1971 or 72.  One of the best shows I've ever seen (at least the parts that I remember).  We were
snuck in by a cool security guard who felt sorry that we didn't have tickets!

I can only wish I was old enough to go to concerts in the 70's. Not that I want to be older lol, but they just aren't the same as they were in the 80's when I first started going to them. A rock album used to be a masterpiece and the live show was just as good. Now with a new album (CD) you get one hit and a bunch of other songs...
