the internet is not making the keys more accessible, its merely making the knowledge more accessible. you can easily make your own bump keys at home, all they are are deep cut keys.

no, i do know a bit about locksmithing though. i prefer actual lock picks.

i think you guys told him all he needs to know. i am not about to advise him on ways to remove it because many of the ways can cause further damage if not done correctly, kind of like what you said in your last post.

I might do something on my system that I wouldn't recommend to someone else because it's potentially harmful (or dangerous).

Good point - thought that you could suggest some picks and technique. He's already written off the port.

chances are he doesnt have lock picks. also, my smallest broken key extractor would not fit in a mic port.
