A friend of my call me with a problem concerning Task Manager.
She has HP computer with Windows XP. She went to close a program that was not responding through task manager. Upon opening task manager she observe that she had 60+ incidents of Task Manager running. She was able to eventually able to close each one down. AND NO Ctrl, ALT Delete was not use/ press that many times..... SHort of Doing a Hard shut down she had to click each incident and shut it down one by one, Plus the program she originally needed to close.
My question is how is this possible and what can be done to prevent this from happening again.
CLARIFICATIONThe 60 + incidents were open when she when to open task manager to close the troublesome page/ program.
They did not open after the fact. Sticky keys, being in a hurry... so forth is "not" the problem
