Why emails so slow to view or delete ?

We have Windows XP Pro & Microsoft Outlook Office XP.
Why is it so slow when I click on emails to read or move to a folder or delete??
We have DSL.

How much RAm does your computer have... Note: You need at LEAST 256 MB to run Windows XP...

We have 512 MB of RAM. It has a Pentium 4

Have you scanned for viruses and Spyware?

I let Trend Micro Scan daily for viruses & do updates.
Did adware check about a week ago.

Why would spyware slow down email clicking - but not surfing the net ?

That's just the way that some syware is... You never know...  ;)  I'm not sure what's happening here... You might just want to wait for another member to post.... Sorry!  :-[

You might want to copy your PST file over to another computer running Office XP, if it still does it then I just won't worry about it.
